Imposter Cadance Box

I was working on my Cadance box, and had the idea to make an Imposter Cadance box as well. Rest assured, I AM going to make a full fledged Queen Chrysalis box in the manner of the Luna and Celestia (not available yet) ones. I wanted to test the waters with something a little more subtle. On the outside, it's pretty much the same as the normal Princess Cadance box. It shares every similarity, except being a little off in some ways. One of these ways, is in the heart. If you look, the linings of the crystal heart is etched in a vivid green, and mild green tint is added on some parts of the heart. Upon opening, you see past her Changeling powers, and Chrysalis is revealed! I used the three colors associated with the Queen (green, that sort of turquoisey, tealish, and black) to break it up. For the top of the interior, I striped the black with the color of her mane to add a little more Chrysalis to it. Just the plain colors looked too simple for the Queen, even as an imposter of Cadance.

Anyhow, this was my very first attempt at a somewhat experimental concept. I hope you guys like it, because I'm actually quite pleased with it, myself.


As always, Princess Cadance and My Little Pony belong to Hasbro, Faust, etc...
